Liverpool Unveil 3rd Kit For 2014-15 Season

A bold red and black design will be worn away from Anfield next season!

TwitterTwitterLiverpool have officially unveiled their third kit for the upcoming 2013-14 Premier League season, with Raheem Sterling, Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge showing off a striking red and black design (above) on Twitter earlier this week. The Reds went for a simplistic red and yellow design for their home and away strip for next season, but have taken a more adventurous approach here. Gerrard and co. can be seen wearing black, gray and red hoops with a stripe running diagonally across the shirt under sponsor's Standard Chartered's logo. The kit is completed by a red-trimmed collar and button and will be worn during away matches from next season. Unsurprisingly, there was no sight of the Red's top goalscorer last season - Luis Suarez - in the photo shoot. The striker is set to complete a big-money move to Barcelona this summer with a shop in Spain even selling No.9 Barca shirts with his name on the back ahead of his protracted move to the Nou Camp. Reaction to Liverpool's new third kit has been mixed, with fans taking to Twitter to air their views. Supporter Nagatha Christie dislikes the collar, writing: "That collar on the third kit is horrid bleh warrior" while Brian, referring to the strip Manchester United unveiled yesterday, added: "Remind me to never complain about the United kit." What do you think of Liverpool's third strip? Will you be buying one? Let us know in the comment section, below.
