Man City Transfer News: Mario Balotelli To AC Milan?

The Sun. The Italian has cut a peripheral figure at the Etihad and has only played three minutes of football in City's last six games, coming on as a last minute substitute against Arsenal last weekend. An angry bust-up with manager Roberto Mancini on January 3rd has led to rumours that the player is now living on borrowed time. The Premier League Champions believe that AC Milan are interested in Balotelli despite the fact owner Silvio Berlusconi labeled him a €˜rotten apple€™ recently and a bid of £24 million could be enough to persuade City to part ways with the troubled Italian. Balotelli€™s representative Mino Raiola was reportedly spotted in an office at the San Siro, sparking speculation Milan were taking the first steps in securing a deal. Balotelli has played at the San Siro before, for Inter Milan between 2007 and 2010, but fell out with former manager Jose Mourinho and angered fans by allowing himself to be photographed in an AC Milan shirt before signing for City in a £24 million deal, the exact figure AC Milan are believed to be offering for his services.
