Why would anyone want to leave Manchester City? It's a valid question, especially given the Citizens' remarkable Premier League run last year. The club broke records left and right on their way to an incredible 100-point haul in England's top division, and while they might not be able to repeat that feat again in the 2018-19 season, they'll still surely give it a good try.
With one of the best managers in the world at the helm, huge wages, and a future that seems to be getting brighter and brighter, Man City seems like the place to be right now, but for one reason or another, some players in the City squad might be thinking about making a move elsewhere before the transfer window slams shut on 9 August.
These players might be seen as surplus to requirements by City's hierarchy or may think they could get more game time and further their own development elsewhere. None of them are necessarily bad footballers, but only the very best of the best are going to be getting into the City eleven each week, so it might be time for these players to make a move.
