Man City vs Chelsea: Can City's Sergio Aguero Continue Rich Vein Of Form?

Manchester City and Chelsea will meet in an early season title-decider at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, and the hosts will be particularly confident given the current run of form of a certain Argentine. Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has enjoyed a great start to the 2013/14 campaign - most recently grabbing a brace against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League group stage. The Argentine international has six goals in seven Premier League games, while also having netted three goals in the Champions League this season (9 goals, 10 games). His best start to a season since 2011. Arguably one of his best performances this campaign came during the 4-1 demolition against fierce title rivals Manchester United in September - in which he grabbed an impressive brace. Under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, the 25-year old has been the first name on the City teamsheet, and will be brimming with confidence when Chelsea come to town. Scoring a great variety of goals requiring quick feet, ingenuity, and his head on many an occasion, it comes as a surprise to many that the striker is still only 25. Home advantage would mean Pellegrini will opt for an attacking lineup against Chelsea, and it's such boldness that could benefit Aguero as he's flourished playing as a two-man strike force most notably with Alvaro Negredo. Aguero can also boast having never lost a Premier League game with the Citizens when he's gotten on the score sheet, so he'll be hoping such a record will continue this weekend.
