Man City Vs Newcaste: Live On Sky Sports, Team News

Big changes at the Etihad.

Man City welcome Newcastle to the Etihad for tonight's 7.45pm kick-off in the League Cup, and unsurprisingly the line-ups are different to those we saw achieve very different results at the weekend. With Manchester United coming up, City have chosen to drop Vincent Kompany, in favour of bringing Demichelis and Mangala back in together, which could well be news to Newcastle fans' ears. Yaya Toure surprisingly starts in centre-midfield in a surprisingly strong City side. Despite calls to attack City, Newcastle have gone with a more conservative selection with Ryan Taylor in midfield with Mehdi Abeid preferred to Vurnon Anita, and Alan Armstrong handed a rare start in place of Ayoze Perez. There's a return for Rolando Aarons too, but first-teamers Tim Krul, Moussa Sissoko, Remy Cabella, Yoan Gouffran and Emmanuel Riviere are only on the bench.

Teams

Man City: Caballero, Sagna, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Milner, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Jovetic, Dzeko Subs: Hart, Boyata, Zabaleta, Nasri, Fernando, Navas, Aguero.
