Man United vs Barcelona Friendly on August 8th

Manchester United and Barcelona will face each other yet again in pre-season.

Although Manchester United may miss out on Ryan Giggs and David De Gea who are both players scheduled for the Olympic games. United€™s pre-season is clearly made to get the best out of the players, with Red Devils set to play in Norway, Sweden, South Africa and China. Chief executive David Gill said:

"Manchester United against Barcelona is one of the top fixtures in world football and we are delighted to work with GotEvent to bring this match to the beautiful city of Gothenburg. We have a large following throughout Scandinavia and it's great that this match will form part of our preparations for the new season.''
The two teams met in last years pre-season on the 30th July in Washington DC which led to a 2-1 win for Manchester United.
