Man Utd 0-1 Newcastle: 5 Reasons Why Magpies Beat Moyes' Reds

Newcastle's 41-year wait for a win at Old Trafford came to a deserved end as Manchester United surrendered 1-0 to Alan Pardew's side. Yohan Cabaye finished off from Moussa Sissoko's cut-back in the 61st minute and Newcastle made it two home defeats without scoring in four days for David Moyes' misfiring champions. With the home side possibly ending the weekend as much as 15 points off table-topping Arsenal, there is much to ponder for Moyes, as the whispers surrounding his future threaten to become deafening shouts. His position should realistically not be under serious question, but on Monday morning he will gather his squad round as the inquest into what went wrong begins. For now, Newcastle will be more than content with a result that put them into the top six, albeit before other matches were played. With Pardew beating the manager-0f-the-month curse, five wins out of six have now been chalked up, but what were the key reasons behind victory at Old Trafford?
