According to TEAMtalk, Man Utd have finally agreed a fee with Porto for 19-year old defender Diogo Dalot. The wing back is expected to undergo his medical at Utd's Carrington training ground on Wednesday before being unveiled as José Mourinho's newest signing before this weekend.

Dalot, a product of Porto's youth academy, only made his first-team debut in February, so this caps a remarkable rise for the teenager.

In the same report, TEAMtalk claimed Dalot's signing, first reported last week, would signal the end of Matteo Darmian's spell with the club. He's set to put pen-to-paper on a deal with Serie A champions Juventus that could bag Utd up to €18 million.

It's also worth noting that Dalot had a Champions League nightmare against Liverpool earlier this season, though he was played out of position during the 5-0 thrashing. Mourinho will have to be mindful of that, because the teenager looked anything but comfortable on the left side of defence.

Dalot is expected to join Brazilian midfielder Fred at Old Trafford. Reports on his deal suggest it's all but done.
