Man Utd Make Sensational £50m Bid For German World Cup Winner

Louis van Gaal has reportedly wanted the player ever since her took over at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have bid a sensational £50 million for World Cup winner Thomas Muller, according to the The Telegraph. Manager, Louis van Gaal has reportedly wanted the attacking midfielder ever since he joined the Red Devils and the club have now made official contact with Bayern Munich. Man United have offered a package worth £120 million in fees and wages over a five-year contract. Muller, who played 48 times last season and scored 21 goals, won his fourth Bundesliga title as Bayern won the league by ten points. When asked about United making an offer, Muller told Sport Bild he was flattered - but insisted that he was happy in Munich. "When you get an offer you consider it automatically," he said. "A request by a big club is an honour and appreciation that your output was good. But I feel fine at Bayern and my contract runs until 2019. There is nothing more to say about this speculation."
