Man Utd Transfer News: Hector Herrera To Join?
Manchester United are preparing a bid for Pachuca midfielder Hector Herrera.
According to The Sun, Manchester United are preparing a bid for Pachuca midfielder Hector Herrera. The Mexican star, nicknamed Zorro, performed extremely well in the 2012 Olympics as Mexico claimed the gold-medal over Brazil in the final. Both Manchester United and Liverpool have shown interest in the player and according to Pachuca, official interest has been declared from the Red Devils. Andres Fassi, Pachucas sporting director, said:There is official interest. We have a document. We know hes going to emigrate to England. Manchester United and Liverpool have talked to us. We want him to continue with Pachuca. But when he decides to leave, the club will give him the opportunity to do so.If the 22-year-old were to join Manchester United he would join fellow Mexican, Javier Hernandez, who joined the club back in 2010. Sir Alex Ferguson has already completed the signings of Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa, Nick Powell and Alexander Buttner this summer and his transfer dealings could rise to well over £55 million if Manchester United completed the signing of Herrera.
