Man Utd Transfer News: Javier Hernandez "Key" To Cristiano Ronaldo Deal?

Manchester Evening News. The Premier League champions were hoping to tempt Real Madrid into selling the forward back to them by offering £65 million plus Nani, but the Spanish giants would prefer Hernandez and may even make a move for the Mexican regardless of whether Ronaldo is sold. Qatar-owned Paris St-Germain are also keen on Ronaldo and the cash-rich French outfit are believed to be preparing a blockbuster £80 million bid for the Portuguese ace. Ronaldo made 292 appearances for United between 2003 and 2009, scoring 118 goals in all competitions throughout his six year stay in the Premier League. He was later sold to Real for a world-record-breaking £80 million - the same amount PSG are reportedly prepared to pay for his services. Ronaldo has a contract with Madrid until 2015, but has been consistently linked with a move back to the Theatre of Dreams. Meanwhile, the Reds have been linked with Borussia Dortmund's 22-year old creative midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. The Germany midfielder has been an integral member of Jurgen Klopp's side over the last few seasons and is credited with helping Dortmund charge into the Champions League final. He is valued at around £17 million.
