Man Utd Transfer News: Pep Guardiola Fuels Toni Kroos Talk

Manchester United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Toni Kroos after Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola cast doubt on the midfielder's future, according to Team Talk. Kroos has 18 months left remaining on his current contract at the Allianz Arena and speculation he could leave intensified recently when United manager David Moyes was spotted at a Bayern game. Moyes was seen sitting next to a representative of Kroos, leading to rumours that he could make a bid for the 24-year-old. Kroos rejected a new deal at Bayern and he appeared unhappy when he was substituted after just an hour of the Bundesliga leader's recent clash against Stuttgart. The German champions trailed by a goal when Kroos was brought off but fought back to win the contest 2-1. Guardiola confessed Kroos might not be sticking around for too much longer, stating:
He is an important player but things can move fast in football. Here today, gone tomorrow.
United manager Moyes claimed recently that he does not expect to make any more signings before the transfer window closes on Friday, after taking Juan Mata from Chelsea. That would seem to rule out any chances of Kroos joining the Premier League champions this month, though a move for the Germany international remains possible this summer. Kroos has been capped 41 times by his country and made his Bayern debut in 2010.
