There's 12 days left to go of the transfer window and so far Manchester United manager David Moyes has only signed right-back Guillermo Varela from Peñarol. Targets such as Thiago Alcantara, James Rodríguez, Joao Moutinho, Cesc Fabregas, Radamel Falcao and Robert Lewandowski are all now unavailable following a summer of frustration for David Moyes. After officially succeeding from the retired Sir Alex Ferguson on July 1, he would surely have liked to have made one notable signing by now, but bids for the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines have failed.
