Yesterday, we published an article that outlined 5 Real Madrid Players That Fergie Must Fear. Indeed, it is very easy to see why United face such a formidable task when they walk out at the Santiago Bernabeu on a sun-set evening in Madrid in the last-16 of the Champions League.
Real are a side who boast one of the greatest players on the planet among their ranks and they are, after all, the current champions of Spain, lest we forget.
However, they have endured an unremarkable season so far, are third in La Liga, and only managed second place in the Champions League group stages, hence this tie.
Manchester United defender Jonny Evans spoke earlier on of how playing Real will be no different to facing Liverpool or Man City.
Though it is a very dangerous occupation writing off a side who are the most successful team in European history, I believe Real, or Los Blancos, as they are nicknamed, are in a state of decline. Things are not quite right in the Real Madrid dressing room, both off the field and on it.
Here, I am going to outline five reasons explaining that opinion.

Real may be playing bad and have already lost “La Liga”… but the year of the 8th Cup of Europe/Champions for Real they were even worst. Real has the ability (very very very risky ability) of letting the local championship go by and focus in Champions.
I’m not telling your points are wrong, I’m just telling that if people thinks that Real is lost because of their year in the local tournament and their problems with coach/players they may be surprised (I’m not telling they will win the Champions, but I don’t expect them to lose without battling till the end)
I reckon Real will produce the goods in the Champo league. They’re such a top team in Europe
