Man Utd vs Real Madrid: Fergie Hails Cristiano Ronaldo As Greatest Galactico
Cristiano Ronaldo as the ultimate Galectico, claiming players such as Roberto Carlos and Zidane Zidane were never as good as what the Real Madrid star is now. Ronaldo, 28, was sold to Real Madrid for a world-record £80 million from Manchester United in 2009 and despite being a huge threat to Uniteds Champions League hopes, Sir Alex Ferguson has heaped praise on the Portuguese. Ronaldo scored 118 goals in just six years for The Red Devils, but then smashed his personal record by scoring 182 times in 179 games for Spanish giants Real Madrid in just four years. Sir Alex said:
