Man Utd: Worst Ever Premier League 11

veron Manchester United have been the dominant force in the English Premier League ever since its origin in 1993. They have set the standard for consistency, stability and maintaining a persistently strong squad of players with a togetherness and unbreakable winning mentality. The Red Devils are often very determined to ensure that only the best will ever pull on the famous shirt, as it is rightly considered to be the shirt of champions. However, every now and again, a player will bear all the outward signs that he fits into the mould of greatness, only on further examination looked more out of place than Victoria Beckham at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The most successful club in the history of the EPL, it would be remarkable to consider that a team that has finished at least third in every season of the last twenty years will have signed a few no-hopers into their squad. Even the great and celebrated Sir Alex Ferguson got it wrong occasionally, and whilst he more than made up for a few lost millions on a clueless signing with a truckload of medals and trophies, it at least gave the rest of the country a chance to mock the greatest team to compete in the competition. The trouble with playing at Manchester United of all clubs is that as soon as a player enters the club, one's expectations of his ability skyrocket. Players that have succeeded at the club have thrived on the expectation to do well and do not show the fear to disappoint; these players had that fear branded on their faces. A number of these players had successful career records prior their arrival at United, and others went on to great things once they left. But, their time at Old Trafford seemingly left them like a herd of deer in front of a fleet of Range Rovers.
