The first lot of Sky Sports and ESPN fixtures have now been released for the first four months of the season and understandably Premier League runners-up Manchester United feature quite heavily in the listings, with nine games chosen.

Particularly eye-catching are the ties against Liverpool and Newcastle United at the end of September and start of October and then the London club double-header a month or so later that will see Fergie’s men’s trip to Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge shown a week or so before Old Trafford welcomes Asene Wenger’s Arsenal for what will no doubt be a typically hot-blooded affair.

Here’s the full list of United’s confirmed televised fixtures for the first part of the 2012/13 season:

“We’re all looking forward to the start of the Premier League and we begin with a bang; Champions League winners Chelsea, Premier League Champions Manchester City and Manchester United all in our opening weekend.
