Manchester United Transfer News: Lewandowski To Snub Fergie?

Express. Last December, it was speculated that the Polish goal-poacher was all but certain to join Manchester United in the summer, with some reports even suggesting he had accepted £20.5 million in wages as part of an £18 million deal that would see the forward join the Premier League leaders. However, Bayern have other ideas in mind, and soon-to-be new manager Pep Guardiola has grandiose plans ahead of taking charge of the Bundesliga outfit in the summer, with a number of other world class strikers heading his transfer wishlist, including Liverpool marksman Luis Suarez. Though Dortmund would be pained in selling to a domestic rival, getting on board the Bayern revolution appears too good an opportunity for Lewandowski to turn down. He is already settled in Germany and has made a name for himself in the league with his 17 goals in all competitions this season for the German giants. The news would come as a bitter pill to swallow for Sir Alex Ferguson, however, who has long been interested in the player. Do you think United should try harder to sign Lewandowski?
