Monaghan 0-12 Tyrone 0-14: All-Ireland Quarter Final 2013

gaelic Tyrone sneaked past neighbours and rivals Monaghan to make it into the semi-finals with a two-point victory in the first match on Saturday evening. The Red Hand county led 0-9 to 0-7 at the break, and despite a surge from Monaghan, two late points from Sean Cavanagh and Ronan O'Neill sealed the victory. Tyrone lost Martin Penrose to a straight red card, following a tunnel incident that occured just after the first-half whistle was blown. The match will be most remembered for pundit Joe Brolly's extraordinary tirade against Tyrone's gamesmanship, and in particular midfielder Sean Cavanagh. Do check it out, it's a must-watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7EYe42Lln4 Tyrone: P McConnell, D Carlin, C Clarke, C McCarron, C McGinley, P Harte, C Gormley, C Cavanagh, S Cavanagh, Mattie Donnelly, Mark Donnelly, J McMahon, D McCurry, S O€™Neill, M Penrose.
