Newcastle 1-0 Leicester: 6 Key Lessons For Pardew

Sometimes second chances are a good thing...

It wasn't pretty and it wasn't exactly definitive, but Newcastle's delayed victory over Leicester City at St. James' Park was a big moment in the Magpies' season. It represents a much needed first victory, a slight ease of pressure, and further indication that if we stop booing him, Gabriel Obertan might actually be a good player. His goal was a rare high point in an otherwise dull match, and while Newcastle should have had a few more, the team is still some distance away from being worthy of remaining in the Premier League. Until then, Pardew would do well to heed the positives and the negatives from yesterday's unexpected win...
