Newcastle Transfer News: Mark Noble Could Be Cabaye Replacement?

Mark Noble could make a shock deadline day move to the North East to join Newcastle United, if the Magpies can see off interest from Everton. The central midfielder would be replacing Yohan Cabaye €“ who has already left the club for French giants PSG €“ and TalkSPORT are reporting that they may be in a race for his signature with Everton. Alan Pardew handed Noble his senior West Ham debut in 2004 and is thought to be a big admirer of the Englishman. The hole left in Newcastle's midfield following Cabaye's departure will be a big one to fill but Noble would add the work rate needed to stop their recent poor form €“ The Magpies have picked up just one win in their last five games and face a tough test tomorrow against fierce rivals Sunderland at St. James' Park. Making 235 appearances for the Hammers, Noble has impressed the Upton Park faithful by remaining loyal to the club and Sam Allardyce will surely be reluctant to release a player who will be crucial to his team's Premier League survival bid.
