Newcastle Transfer News: Premier League Clubs Offered Senegal Striker

Will Dame N'Doye still be playing in the Premier League next season?

Newcastle United are among a host of Premier League clubs who have been offered Hull City forward Dame N'Doye this summer. The relegated Tigers hope to get a fee of around £3 million-£4 million for the 26-cap Senegal international and have given Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Swansea City, Norwich City and Everton the opportunity to sign him, according to the Daily Mail. Having parted with £2.2 million to secure N'Doye's signature from Lokomotiv Moscow in January, Hull hope to still make a profit on a player who netted a respectable five goals in 15 Premier League appearances.
Having also bagged six goals in 26 Senegal caps, the 30-year-old forward is experienced and would provide a reasonable back-up option for a Premier League side at a relatively-low cost. Despite being offered N'Doye, Newcastle are only likely to make a move for the 6ft 1in forward if they fail to secure any of their top striking targets - with Queens Park Rangers' Charlie Austin and Wolfsburg's Bas Dost top of their shopping list. In 312 career appearances for Senegalese side Jeanne d'Arc, Qatari club Al-Sadd, Academica de Comimbra in the Primeira Liga, Panathinaikos, OFI Crete, FC Copenhagen, Lokomotiv and Hull, N'Doye has netted 144 goals. He has also claimed three Danish Superliga titles and two Danish Cups - as well as being the Danish Superliga's top scorer in both 2010-11 and 2011-12.
