Before proceeding to the top ten, I wanted to say a little something on Davide Santon: wonderkid, and future star in the making. Mark my words - Davide will become one of the best full-backs in the world, though whether he still plays for Newcastle when it happens is another subject. Capped at every level in the Italian national system, he's regarded as a huge potential for the future, so its no wonder why Newcastle shelled out over £5 million for the young full back. I acknowledge he's yet to make a huge impact on the pitch, but if you consider his future value, and the fact he's only 21 years of age, Newcastle will get a decent return from both on and off the pitch. Fans have already warmed to him, when he famously said that he's never seen a Macken in Milan. Taking a cheap shot at the rivals - good work Davide.
