Restored to his preferred role up front with two proper wingers in the form of Gouffran and Jonas, he thrived. His touch was brilliant, he held the ball up, made good bits of movement grabbed a great goal. Timing his run to perfection, where in recent months he probably would have managed to be offside he picked up Sissoko€™s pass and threaded it through Guzan€™s legs to the joy of the Toon Army.
