he wants to leave St James' Park and return to Argentina. We have seen how ruthless club chairmen can be recently. Nigel Adkins was given his marching orders at Southampton despite the fact that he had guided them out of the relegation zone on the back of a few impressive draws with Arsenal and Chelsea. It is perhaps then only a matter of time until Alan Pardew suffers a similar fate, and you have to question just how longer Mike Ashley is prepared to exercise patience with the Englishman.
