Newcastle Will Look To End Five Straight Tyne-Wear Derby Defeats Live On Sky

The TV schedulers have not failed to take the fans into account once more...

Newcastle United remain extremely popular when it comes to featuring on TV - with three of their fixtures in October and November, including the Wear-Tyne derby, moved for broadcast, although the TV schedulers have forgotten about the fans once more. The match with bitter rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light has been changed to Sunday October 25th (12pm kick-off) and will be broadcast on Sky Sports - with the Magpies hoping to end a run of five-straight derby defeats. The Norwich game at St James' Park has been moved to Sunday October 18th (4pm kick-off) and will be broadcast as part of Sky Sports' "Super Sunday". So that may give Toon supporters no options but to fly, bus it or head down the day before. What a lovely Friday night/Saturday morning trip that will be...
