Newcastle's French Midfielder "Interesting" Liverpool And Tottenham

He's never made a first-team appearance for NUFC yet he's wanted by their Premier League rivals...

Newcastle United midfielder Olivier Kemen has never made a first-team appearance for the club yet he could be on his way out of St James' Park this summer - with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur fighting it out for his signature. The 18-year-old arrived on Tyneside from Metz two years ago and he has failed to break into the first-team picture to date, yet L'Equipe claim there is interest in Kemen from two of Newcastle's Premier League rivals. Interestingly, Liverpool have also been credited with a move for Newcastle's France international midfielder Moussa Sissoko in recent weeks, although those claims have been denied. Yet it is their reported interest in Kemen that is perhaps more interesting considering the youngster's lack of first-team football. Kemen - who has performed well in 26 appearances for the Magpies' Under-21 side, scoring three times - is currently in Greece captaining France in the UEFA Under-19 Championship. Juventus forward Kingsley Coman is also in the squad, as is Atletico Madrid's exciting youngster Lucas Hernandez. If Kemen continues to impress while out in Greece, then Spurs and Liverpool could well firm up their tentative interest in a player who has yet to experience first-team Premier League football.
