NFL: Top 15 All-Time Passing Yard Leaders Still Playing

The record is staggering, but it's all set to be broken in 2015.

The NFL is a league centred around passing, whether teams like it or not, the aerial threats around the league are what draws in the fans. Odell Beckham Jr. exploded onto the scene last season, with some huge plays, and of course, not forgetting his physics-shattering one-hander against the Cowboys to announce his arrival on the scene. He's the latest receiving talent on the scene, and if he can continue to allude the defensive players tasked with stopping him, he will only grow more fearsome as time rolls by. But while last year saw an unprecedented injection of receiving talent rise up through the draft, it is the veteran quarterbacks who continue to punch the balls through for their targets. Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger tied for the season's top passing yards, with 4,952 each, while nine other QBs topped the 4,000 yard mark, including Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, while Andrew Luck's blatant talent is improving year-on-year. Luck is essentially Manning re-incarnate for the Colts, and will be aiming to smash all of the top records, but there's still a very long way to go before he tips all of the honours, so let's look at the top 20 all-time passing yard totals posted by some masters still playing the game, hoping to emulate Brett Favre's gigantic 71,838yd record.
