Today’s Super Sunday Premier League match is the game at Carrow Road as Norwich City welcome Wigan Athletic for the afternoon encounter. Kick-off is at 4pm and the match is being screened live on Sky Sports.
Here’s the team news ahead of the game…
Paul Lambert’s Norwich City will be without defenders Marc Tierney (groin) and Daniel Ayala (hamstring) for today’s game meaning England U21 international centre-back Ryan Bennett could come in and start. He was an unused sub in last week’s defeat to Stoke. Jonny Howson played in that game and should again be fit to field.
Forward James Vaughan (hamstring) is still sidelined for the Canaries.
For Roberto Martinez’s Wigan, midfielder David Jones has been ruled out for a fortnight with a knee injury. He joins ‘keeper Mike Pollitt (shoulder) on the sidelines but the trio of Victor Moses, Hugo Rodallega and Mohamed Diame are all expected to return to the Latics first eleven having only been on the bench last week.
