Premier League: 10 Transfers That Could Still Happen Before The Window Shuts

The January transfer window has been generally quiet this year with many of the so-called 'top sides' showing signs of inactivity as the clock ticks down toward Friday's 23:00 GMT deadline. The window will slam shut until the summer at the end of the week and these next four days are all that remains if Premier League managers want to strengthen their squads. So far we have seen Mohamed Salah join Chelsea from Basel for £11 million and Juan Mata leave Stamford Bridge for Manchester United for £37.1 million, but there's been little else to talk about. That Cardiff, Hull, Stoke, Sunderland and West Ham have been the busiest topflight clubs in the winter window tells you as much, with those five sides having signed three players each. Archetypal big-spenders Manchester City haven't signed anyone while Arsenal, who shelled out £42 million on just one player last summer, likewise haven't spent a penny this time. All that could change of course with a few days remaining of the window, and there's time yet for a surprise or two before all is said and done. Here we take a look at 10 Transfers That Could Still Happen Before The Window Shuts.
