Premier League 2013-14: Season Predictions

barclays premier league It's finally returned, the Barclays Premier League has once again burst into life for the 22nd incarnation. During the long old 3 month interim that the fans' of the respective 20 elite clubs have had an agonising wait for action to commence, while pondering the effectiveness of their transfer dealings, the sharpness and the chemistry of their teams during pre-season and for a few, pondering who has impressed them enough and has the potential to stick in their Fantasy Football Team. Of course, every fan has their opinions on the subjects above. Some may be filled by a sense of slight disappointment with their team's summer work both on and off the field, yet some of them may be content and full of optimism on their team's escapades. The managerial game has dealt the top three with new managers in David Moyes at Champions Manchester United; Manuel Pellegrini across the city at City; and the returning José Mourinho for Europa League holders Chelsea. Meanwhile lower down Mark Hughes and Roberto Martinez make their bows at Stoke and Everton respectively. Not forgetting managerial returns to the Premier League for Steve Bruce at Hull and jolly Ian Holloway at the helm of play-off winners Crystal Palace. While on the Welsh side of things, Malky Mackay joins Michael Laudrup in vying for being in charge of the top Welsh side come the end of this season. They, as well as us, will be itching for Saturday to come quickly for the action to hit our screens. So, with Liverpool vs Stoke kicking off another nine months of trials and tribulations in England's top table, we here at WhatCulture! take a look into the future and predict how the League will look at approximately 6:00pm on the 11th May next year in the form of a club-by-club assessment.
