A loan deal could apparently be in the offering, with a view to signing the Spaniard at the end of the season. The Metro and the People both believe that Wesley Sneijder could be putting off signing for Galatasary in the hope of playing for Liverpool. The People also believes that Brendan Rogers is planning a summer move for £16m Barcelona 'keeper Victor Valdes. Spurs want £55m for Welsh winger Gareth Bale, according to the Sunday Express. Real Madrid are said to be interested. Wilfried Zaha's much-mooted move to Manchester United is on the rocks, according to the Sunday Mirror, as Crystal Palace will only let him move for £15m, add-ons, and a loan-back until the end of the season. The Mirror believes that Fulham have joined the race to sign midfielder Yannes M'Vila, after talks with Tottenham over Tom Huddlestone collapsed. Newcastle have had a £10m bid accepted for French striker Loic Remy, according to the Mail on Sunday. The same report suggests that Alan Pardew is trying his utmost to keep captain Fabricio Coloccini at the club. Aston Villa are trying to sell club-record signing Darren Bent - but are refusing to let him go to relegation rivals Reading and QPR, according to the Mirror. The England striker has made just 10 appearances this season, and Paul Lambert prefers Christian Benteke. Both Manchester United and Manchester City are after St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Sun. Tottenham, Newcastle, and Fiorentina are also interested. The Gabon striker shot to infamy last month when he warmed up for a game wearing £2,500 crystal-covered football boots. Finally, Ashley Cole is considering a summer move to Manchester United, according to the People. The left-back's contract at Chelsea expires in the summer.
