18-year-old Reading striker Dominic Samuel has moved to Colchester United on an "initial month's loan". The England U19 international is believed to have been sent there to get some playing time. He made his Premier League debut last month. Tottenham Hotspur have signed English left-back Zeki Fryers from Standard Liege for an undisclosed fee. Fryers started his career at Manchester United before moving to the Belgian side last summer. He has represented England at youth level.

Demba Ba's move to Chelsea is all but done, after Alan Pardew said yesterday, €œIt€™s done, he will go to Chelsea with our blessing.€ Yossi Benayoun's loan stay at West Ham will not be extended. The midfielder has been sent back to the Blues, where he has been unable to earn himself a first-team spot in the last few years. With his former Liverpool boss now managing Chelsea, it seems unlikely that the 32-year-old will stay for long; he has said in the past that "there is only one reason - Rafa Benitez." Mathieu Debuchy is currently undergoing a medical at St James' Park. "He's not available for Saturday but hopefully for Norwich," said Alan Pardew on the Newcastle website. Ryan Shawcross has signed a new deal with Stoke, after speculation over his future in December. The defender signs a new five-year contract. Everton have extended the contract of 30-year-old defender Phil Jagielka. The new deal runs until 2017. 25-year-old Edison Cavani's agent has said that the striker is likely to leave Napoli in the summer, according to the Sun. Manchester City are said to be keen on signing him. Chelsea will finalise the deal for Ba this week and will sell Frank Lampard to Inter Milan, according to the Sun. With Wesley Sneijder on his way out, the 34-year-old is seen as his replacement. Harry Redknapp is looking to sign 33-year-old right-back Anthony Reveillere from Lyon, says the Telegraph. The French international's move would put further pressure on Jose Bosingwa's position, after his was fined 2 weeks wages and publicly shamed by Redknapp for his lack of commitment to the club. Liverpool will pay West Ham £4m to make sure that 31-year-old Joe Cole goes to the Hammers, according to the Sun - meaning that the Kop managed to make a loss on a player that they got for free. Fulham are considering giving 29-year-old Derek Boateng a contract, according to the Daily Mail. He was due to move to the West London club in the summer, but talks stalled on deadline day.They are currently waiting on a medical. The Mirror claims that Martin O'Neill wants to bring out-of-favour PSG striker Guillaume Hoarau to the Stadium of Light. The 28-year-old was told that he could leave this window, paving the way for Sunderland's move. West Brom are open to offers to 25-year-old midfielder Graham Dorrans, according to the Independent.
