QPR Transfers: 5 Big Players Who Will Stay In The Premier League Next Year

Harry Houdini's latest stage show has failed to capture the imagination, as Queens Park Rangers will undoubtedly be playing Championship football next season. Whether they ever bask in the rarified air of Premier League stadiums in the future will obviously depend on Redknapp's ability to find players on a budget that will be disintegrated by extortionate wages of underperforming players. The likes of Adel Taarabt, Christopher Samba and Jose Bosingwa have seen their standard of living increase whilst QPR's Premier League career is on life support. In order to balance the books, the club will undoubtedly need to sell a number of players, and many will be happy to leave because they (wrongly) believe that they are deserving of top flight action. Of course there have been some players that have stood out from the banks of disappointments and prima donnas that fill the majority of the club's squad. Some will find themselves coming back to the Premier League in the summer, whether it is to bolster the ranks of the newly promoted sides, or maybe the lucky few that will be staring down the table rather than looking up at every other team. This list will examine those few players with the quality, drive and passion to escape from their current sinking ship and land on a shiny new yacht in the Premier League harbour. It will also consider their likely destinations due to the performances that they have been able to display, albeit too fleetingly to save their current employers.
