Ranking Brock Lesnar's 7 UFC Fights From Least To Most Dominant

His career was short, but he made the most of it.

Between WWE runs, Brock Lesnar had a whole other career where he used his freakish strength and athleticism to actually dominate professional fighters the way he dominated John Cena in the theatre of professional wrestling recently at SummerSlam. While diverticulitis cut his career short, all of his fights are an interesting look at what happens when you throw a freak of nature in the Octagon. Lesnar is exactly that - a physical freak of nature built like a Sherman tank. He was also a decorated collegiate wrestler who in his college days would become champion in the Big 10 conference in the U.S. twice (the Big 10 is the oldest Division 1 athletic conference in the U.S.). All told in his college career Lesnar was a two-time NJCAA All-American, the 1998 NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, a two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion, and the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion - that's a pretty stellar list of collegiate credentials. He took those skills over to the realm of pro wrestling, becoming (at the time) the youngest WWE champion in history, but after growing increasingly dissatisfied with the wrestling business, he left the company and tried out for the Minnesota Vikings. He made camp with the Vikings and made it to the very end, only to be offered a spot with the team's NFL Europa club. Rather than leave his family behind (and perhaps a bit wounded in the pride department, though anyone who makes it that close to the NFL with no prior high-level football experience should be pretty damn proud) he opted to decline, and wound up wrestling in Japan briefly before transitioning to the sport of MMA. He would fight just once, in Hero's in Japan, the MMA section of the K-1 organization, before the UFC's Dana White took notice and signed him up. There he would defeat Min Soo Kim, then go straight into the UFC and take on Frank Mir in his first fight. If you're a wrestling or MMA fan, you know the story from there - Lesnar would quickly rise to dominance, winning the heavyweight championship and tying for the longest title defence streak in UFC heavyweight history, before being hit with diverticulitis, having major surgery, and eventually losing his belt to Cain Velasquez and hanging up his five ounce gloves after one last fight. Lesnar wasn't the most well-rounded mixed martial artist - he relied on his physical strength and strong wrestling, and shied away from striking - but he still had the skills to succeed at a top level, despite many detractors who never thought he would make it. So lets take a look at all seven of Brock Lesnar's MMA bouts!
