Rating Liverpool's 7 New Summer Signings

Liverpool have signed seven players so far, but how do they fare in our ratings?

Liverpool have been one of the most active Premier League teams in this summer€™s transfer window and this afternoon announced their seventh capture in Javier Manquillo. The right-back has joined from Atletico Madrid and becomes just the latest in a long line of players to make the move to Anfield over the last few months. The Reds have been on an apparently personal mission to buy most of Southampton having landed Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren from the south coast club while they have also wrapped up deals for Divock Origi, Lazar Markovic and Emre Can. That pushes the north west side's net spend this summer toward the £90 million mark with manager Brendan Rodgers appearing hell-bent on spending that Luis Suarez money. Liverpool sold Suarez to Barcelona for £75 million this summer and have already re-invested that fee and more besides in the squad as they prepare for their first season back in the Champions League since 2009. The Reds will also be hoping for another title push in 2014-15 having come so perilously close to glory last term and they certainly have the players to mount a credible challenge. Rodgers has spent wisely this summer with some shrewd loan moves interspersed with big-money buys and there€™s a lot of excitement on Merseyside at present. With so many new faces coming in, it€™s easy to see why €“ but just how good are his seven new signings? Here, we rank each of them and award a score out of 10 based on the quality of the purchase.
