5. The Fixture List
Like all teams Reading face a mixed bag of fixtures before the end of the season including further difficult opponents before the end of the season including Liverpool, Arsenal and both Manchester clubs. There is some grounds to be positive though, as a look at the list shows there are 4 matches coming up against clubs who remain near Reading in the table - Wigan, Villa, Southampton and QPR. More interestingly these matches are all at the Madejski Stadium. This is without wondering how West Ham are ending their season and it should also be noted that the last match of the season will be when Reading travel to West Ham. Could this be a must win match or will the Royals be safe and sound by then?
