Real Madrid & Barcelona Warned About Signing Champions League Finalist

Spanish football expert has his say...

Spanish football expert Terry Gibson believes Real Madrid or Barcelona will be taking a huge gamble if they meet Juventus' asking price for Paul Pogba. The Sky Sports pundit believes the 22-year-old has not done enough to merit his ‚100m (£73m) asking price. The former Wimbledon man, who is a regular on Revista De La Liga, believes any move for the French international would be a risk and advised those interested to think again. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said:
"I'm not criticising Pogba. I still think he's a very very good young player. "But I still think it's a huge gamble for Real Madrid or Barcelona to pay the huge sum of money it's going to take to get him to leave Juventus. "I would rather have Claudio Marchisio. Marchisio is a better player than Paul Pogba. "He played better at the weekend and he's done it for a longer period of time. There's a big age difference but Pogba's a glamour signing."
Pogba looks set to leave Juventus this summer after the Italian giants' defeat in the Champions League final to Barcelona at the weekend. There are a whole host of clubs from across Europe rumoured to be interested in his signature with Paris Saint Germain monitoring the situation while Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City are also said to be interested.
