Real Madrid have one hand on the La Liga trophy but they still need to be professional in the run-in and make sure they win two of their last four games to secure the title. They take on Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu today, with an earlier than usual 11am (UK time) kick-off time, 12pm CET, looking to extend their seven-point margin over Barcelona who take on Rayo Vallecano later on tonight.

The match is screened live on Sky Sports. Here’s the team news ahead of the game…

After Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final disappointment where the Madrid players will no doubt be tired having giving everything in 120 minutes only to lose, boss Jose Mourinho is likely to introduce as many as half a dozen fresh legs in today’s game. The likes of Kaka, Gonzalo Huguain, Callejon, Contrao and Granero will be hoping for some game time today.

We expect Xabi Alonso to be rested for Granero or Khedira, perhaps with Higuain getting the nod above Benzema.

Mourinho will also likely be tempted to play the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria whose stunning performances last season saw Madrid thrash Sevilla 2-6 at the Sachez Pizjuan last December. With Madrid not having a Champions League final to rest players for, perhaps Mourinho will keep a few of his senior players in the team to secure the trophy.
