Rugby League: 5 Reasons You Should Be Watching

4. €˜The Biff€™

Rugby Sin Bin Following on from my previous point, and on a similar note, €˜biff€™ refers to big hits, but also the odd tear up, which is what I will focus on now. People may complain and say the odd punch thrown in anger has no place in the game, but deep down, we all love to see two men going toe-to-toe, it€™s just part of the game. Now before I get my head ripped off for promoting violence, I certainly am not; there is a great deal of difference between two men going head to head in a fair fight and someone getting hit with a bottle. The occasional bit of €˜biff€™ spices the game up, and if nothing else, shows how pumped up both sets of players are, which is never really a bad thing. Nothing exhibits this better than the infamous 1995 State of Origin brawl, which is regarded as the best Origin fight of all time€ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIX5MA7uiwc
