During that time a myriad of true racing icons have driven the unmistakable red livery synonymous and instantly recognisable with the Ferrari brand. This includes some of the most charismatic, talented, and fearsome drivers the sport has ever seen such as Alberto Ascari, Phil Hill, Niki Lauda, and of course the awesome Michael Schumacher. For much of the time since F1 started out in 1950, one of Scuderia Ferrari's closest sponsors and technical partners has been motoring giant Shell. Through this relationship Ferrari utilises Shell's unique and performance maximising technologies. And in turn Shell are able to test out, in the most demanding way, many of the fuel and motoring advances which eventually make their way in to the general world of motoring. This includes their patented Shell V-Power Fuel used by car drivers the world over, and Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology lubricant which can withstand and maintain performance in temperatures in excess of 1000 degrees Celsius. For the first time ever Shell are giving fans the chance to take a digital tour of the Scuderia Ferrari garage. As well as being able to navigate around the general workspace, users are able to zoom in for detailed examinations of the different monitoring stations and sections of the car, which include tutorials and step by step walkthroughs. After going through the setup the team carries out before every race, users can then jump in to the cockpit and be taken on a race lap showing what array of controls and features are used by the driver during the race. Take a look at the video above and follow the link to take advantage of this insightful and never before available chance to see inside Scuderia Ferrari.
