Spurs News: Alex Pritchard Looks To Impress While On Loan

Young midfielder wants to play well in the Championship for Brentford.

Spurs' young midfielder Alex Pritchard aims to use his current loan spell at Brentford to impress the coaching staff at his parent club. The newly capped England Under-21 international (who made his debut at that level just this week), has previously spent time away from White Hart Lane on loan at both Peterborough United and Swindon Town and joined the Bees on a season-long loan on the 17th of July this year. Pritchard has claimed that he already feels settled at Griffin Park and is hoping that regular game time in the Championship will give him with the platform to showcase his skills so that the powers-that-be at White Hart Lane will see what he can do. He told reporters the following:
I had my first full year of men's football at Swindon so I'm looking to continue that here. I felt I needed to make the step back up to Championship, where I've previously played with Peterborough. Hopefully people will be watching and I can show them what I can do. But you've just got to concentrate on your game and the rest will take care of itself. I'm a Brentford player now so I'll work hard for the team and whatever happens, happens. I've settled in really well. All the lads have made me feel welcome.
Pritchard, who is 21, has scored one goal in five appearances for Brentford so far this season - in the 2-1 victory over Blackpool on August the 19th.
