Spurs Poll: Was 0-3 Vs Liverpool A Harsh Scoreline?

Did the result flatter the Reds at White Hart Lane?

Spurs suffered their first defeat of Mauricio Pochettino's reign as boss as Liverpool ran out 3-0 winners at White Hart Lane yesterday. Goals from Raheem Sterling, Steven Gerrard (penalty) and Alberto Moreno ensured Spurs' unbeaten record and zero goals conceded record disappeared quite emphatically. Spurs actually had the bulk of the possession - 60.5% compared to Liverpool's 39.5%, in fact - but Liverpool were far more threatening on the attack, had many more attempts on goal and were clearly more clinical with their finishing. Sterling's goal came after eight minutes, after Daniel Sturridge did some good work on the right wing and found Jordan Henderson who squared it in to the six yard box for the England forward to tap home. Gerrard's penalty came after Eric Dier pulled Joe Allen's shirt in the Spurs area. The Wales international went down very easily and Gerrard coolly slotted home the resulting spot kick. Moreno rounded things off when he dispossessed Andros Townsend - who had just come on as a substitute and was having his first touch - and ran sixty yards before driving a left-footed shot in to the bottom left-hand corner. It was a huge wake-up call for Spurs, certainly, but they shouldn't be too disheartened as they are still in a process of transition, they were by no means outplayed and the performance was a huge improvement on the 5-0 home defeat Liverpool inflicted on them last season. So, simply put, we want to know if you think the 0-3 scoreline was harsh on Spurs? Or did they get exactly what they deserved?
