Spurs Poll: Will Mauricio Pochettino Last The Season?

The big question for Spurs fans in 2014-15.

Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs career officially got off to a flying start on Saturday, as an injury time goal from his own signing - and a man he surprisingly trusted with a Premier League debut - Eric Dier, gave the Lilywhites a 1-0 victory against West Ham United at the Boleyn Ground. The Argentine coach's delight and relief was clear for all to see, as he openly celebrated both the scoring of the goal itself and the blowing of the final whistle. Pochettino will be all too aware of the demands Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has of his teams and their managers - anything less than Champions League qualification will likely result in his dismissal, such is the nature of the job these days - as Spurs went through two managers last season alone, with both Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood departing with the space of a few months. Even prior to that, Spurs had already gone through five full-time managers and three caretakers since the turn of the millennium, giving them something of a reputation as a club who don't give their leading men the time required to put their stamp on the club. So, given the brief amount of time Pochettino has been in charge, his presentation of himself in the media spotlight, the club's performances in pre-season and the opening day victory at West Ham, what do you make of the new man in charge at White Hart Lane? Will he last the season? Let us know by voting in the poll below and please do elaborate on your thoughts by commenting in the relevant section at the bottom of the page.
