Spurs Transfer News: Scott Parker Signs 3-Year Deal At Fulham

, according to Sky Sports, but it's believed he opted for Fulham thanks to their offer of Premier League football. Fulham manager Martin Jol said in an official club press release;

I'm delighted that Scott has joined us. He's a midfielder who works tirelessly for his team and is a fantastic player both on and off the ball. It is wonderful to see a player of his stature playing for Fulham Football Club
Parker was also quoted in the same press release, stating;
I'm delighted to be joining Fulham and I'm looking forward to meeting my new team-mates at training tomorrow morning. Fulham is an established Premier League club and I look forward to trying to help the team progress even further over the next three years.
It's the eight summer signing Fulham have made in 2013, and an important addition to the centre of the park. Parker had become surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane following the signings of Etienne Capoue and Paulinho, and is the third Tottenham midfielder to leave in a week, following Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore, who both went to Hull City. It's the fifth London club of his career for the 32-year-old; the journeyman midfielder has played in the past for West Ham, Charlton, Chelsea, and Spurs, as well as for Newcastle United in the North-East.
