Spurs Transfers: Interest Shown In Rabiot

Young PSG midfielder linked to White Hart Lane.

Tottenham are being linked with a move for young Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot. According to L'Equipe, the White Hart Lane outfit join AC Milan, AS Roma and Juventus in showing an interest in the French Under-21 international. Rabiot, who is 19, spent part of his youth career in England with Manchester City and reportedly attracted interest from Spurs' North London rivals Arsenal last year. Going in to the last year of his current deal, the Paris-born youngster does not wish to extend his contract with PSG and his departure seems inevitable. His club are reportedly asking for between ‚10 million and ‚12 million for him and this figure is well within the boundaries of what Spurs can afford to spend. Central midfield appears to be an area in which new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to strengthen, with the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Alex Song having been linked with moves to the club, and the likes of Sandro and Paulinho having been linked with moves away from the club, and Rabiot could be seen as part of the future of the central midfield at White Hart Lane. Rabiot has played for France at every level up to their Under-21s and he has three caps at that level. He spent time on loan at Toulouse last season, where he played in thirteen league games - twelve of which came from the start - and scored one goal. He's played 31 league games for PSG - thirteen of which came from the start - and score twice. What do Spurs fans think of this rumour? Would you welcome Rabiot to Spurs with open arms? Would he be an immediate contender for a first team place? Should the club be looking at better players? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
