Crystal Palace's hopes of securing Tom Ince on a loan deal could be hijacked by Stoke City, with Sky Sports reporting that Mark Hughes' side have now made an offer to sign Ince on a permanent deal. Crystal Palace had been looking set to secure Ince's services, but the Stoke offer looks like it could scupper those hopes. However, according to the Daily Mail, Ince would much rather move to a new club on loan. The Blackpool star is keenly aware that he could get far more money in the summer if he was to go on loan now and impress in the Premier League. The latest Sky Bet odds are reflecting this, with Ince remaining a 4/7 favourite to join Palace. The odds for Stoke have significantly shortened however, now standing at 7/4. (Odds fluctuating regularly) Stoke manager Mark Hughes will be hopeful of those odds get even shorter. With the Palace deal reportedly at a 'stumbling block' and hard cash on the table from the Midlands club, Ince might find his future at the Brittania come 11pm tonight. He would be a fantastic addition to Stoke's fight to survive relegation - they currently sit just 3 points above the relegation zone. The 22 year old son of Paul Ince brings with him a canny goal scoring record for a winger, and is one of England's hottest prospects. It is high time we seen this gifted footballer in the English Premier League, and if he really makes an impact there could even be a possibility of the starlet making a case for a place in Roy Hodgshon's World Cup 2014 squad.
