Sunderland Transfer News: Steve Bruce Confirms Interest In Black Cats Flop Danny Graham

There's lots and lots of players and it's always wrong for me to talk about them, but Graham is someone where there's been a bit of interest.. He hasn't had the best of times in the north-east but he's a very, very good player. Whether it's possible, who knows? It's something that we're looking at but we haven't done anything just yet.
Graham moved to the Stadium of Light in January this year after forcing his way out of Swansea City, to secure a move back to his native region. The transfer caused an uproar with the Sunderland faithful after comments made by the striker about his feelings toward the Black Cats, during his days at Watford, were revealed. The 27-year-old is still yet to score for the Wearside club in his 11 league appearances however, the forward did hit the back of the net in the club's 13-1 preseason win against a select local XI. Graham failed to impress Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio last season after it was revealed that his fitness was not up to standard and the Black Cats will be looking to sell after bringing in 8 new signings already this summer.
