Swansea Transfer News: Liverpool's Jonjo Shelvey In Talks Over Move

Team Talk. The youngster has been linked with a string of clubs, and now the Welsh outfit have revealed their interest. Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post:

"There is an interest there and we are talking to Liverpool."
Shelvey began his career at Arsenal as a youth team player, and later spent time at the academies of West Ham United and Charlton Athletic. He made 42 senior appearances for the latter, before signing for Liverpool in 2010 for £1.7 million. But with his future at Anfield now uncertain, Swansea, as well as Norwich, are looking into the possibility of taking the £8 million-rated youngster away from Merseyside. Meanwhile, Jenkins confirmed talks are also ongoing over potential deals for Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony and Lyon forward Bafetimbi Gomis, who have also been attracting interest from Swansea. Bony finished last season as the top goalscorer in the Netherlands with an incredible 31 strikes in 30 Eredivisie appearances, while Gomis hit 20 goals in 40 overall appearances for the French outfit last season. Along with Bony and Gomis, Espanyol wideman Wakaso Mubarak is another summer target for Swansea.
