Tottenham Transfers: Saido Berahino Set To Stay At West Brom

The Baggies are yet to hear from Spurs or Manchester City.

Saido Berahino is set to stay at West Brom after the club have not received a bid for the player, according to The Mirror.

Despite the 22-year-old being strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur all summer and more recent interest emerging from Manchester City at the weekend, reports state that Berahino will be staying at the Baggies.

Albion are reportedly yet to receive a phone call enquiring about their star striker and with the season starting this week they're now hoping they will be able to keep ahold of him.

Berahino who scored 14 league goals last season has two years left on his contract and Tony Pulis will be hoping to get a new deal arranged in the near future.

The Express also reported that Newcastle United were €œwilling to break their transfer record€ in order to beat Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of the England U21 International.
